Pipercross Viper Induction Kits replace the original restrictive paper air filter and airbox with a high performance, carbon fibre sealed airbox. The carbon heat shield is bonded directly to a 150mm polished alloy rampipe to greatly increase laminar air flow within the filter, and maximise power. 

Using 'velocity air force', the Viper air intake directs cold air directly into the engine. The cold air feed takes air from an area of cold, dense air straight into the Viper's inlet, swirling it through a unique Pipercross reverse-flow air filter, then into a ram pipe to increase the air pressure before feeding it into the induction system through a Pipercross Triple Layer Foam air filter.

The carbon fibre heat shield protects the air charge from under bonnet heat keeping it cool, and therefore more dense - introducing more oxygen into the combustion mixture, giving increased power.

Where application allows, kits come complete with cold air feed pipe and alloy bellmouth. When not possible, kits generally situate the filter directly into an area of cold air that is no affected by under bonnet items, to ensure maximum airflow.
